Chiya (Milk Tea)

Ingredients (for 2-3 cups):

  1. Milk : 2 cups
  2. Water : 1 cup
  3. Tea powder : 2 – 3 teaspoons (or according to your taste)
  4. Sugar : 4 teaspoons (or according to your taste)
  5. (Optional) Cardamom : 2-3 counts
  6. (Optional) Clove : 2-3 counts
  7. (Optional) Ginger : small piece or according to your taste

Preparation steps:

  1. Pour the water on to a cooking pot and put to on the stove with medium heat.
  2. Add the tea powder and sugar.
  3. (Optional) Crush the cardamom, clove and ginger. Then add it to the pot.
  4. Once the water starts to boil, add the milk and bring it to a boil.
  5. Finally, after turning off the heat, use a strainer and pour the fresh chiya to your cup.
